Event postponement – MED SENIOR GAMES

As is well known, many sporting events of all kinds and everywhere have been suspended due to the global health emergency from Covid-19, with the aim of not creating places of aggregation that inevitably promote contagion. With great regret, the Organizing Committee of the MED Senior Games Genova 2022, given the current situation and the unknown of the pandemic in the coming months of 2022, is forced to announce that the MED Senior Games will not be held in June next year.

This decision has been taken, based on the guidelines and recommendations of the local health authorities, shared with the Sports Federations, the International Sport Cooperation Group (ISCOG), the Sponsors, and many sporting clubs that collaborate with the Organizing Committee. The Games will be rescheduled in a period that can ensure greater safety of the health of all athletes and accompanying persons.

We apologize for any inconvenience that this decision may cause to the participants who have already registered for the Games, our goal now is to monitor the progress of the pandemic and as soon as possible find the best possible options to reschedule this important sport event.
